Let’s Build Our New Church Together
Together we will stand Here and face Eternity. We should realize that any building project today is going to seem expensive and the construction of such an important building will not be without sacrifice.
The estimated cost of our new church is $7.9 million. We will need to have pledges that equal $7.9 million of the project cost and we need to have $3.6 million cash in hand before the diocese will loan the parish the remaining monies to complete the project.
Thus, the timing of when we build our sanctuary will be determined by the commitment and dedication of the parishioners and their contributions.
Proposed Design
Inspiration for the new building
Since the time of Christ's death and resurrection the followers of Jesus have taken on the mission of Jesus Christ. The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross won forgiveness of sins, and opened the doors of eternity to all believers.
From that time to ours, the followers of Christ have always found themselves in a particular place facing eternity. First their "Here" as Jerusalem; then the "Here" was places like Corinth, Theselonia, Rome, and places beyond. Then disciples always found themselves in some "Here" looking to eternity. Thus, our theme: From Here to Eternity.
The sanctuary is where we manifest our hopes and joys, fears and sorrows; knowing that God is the victor in all things. The church is a House of Prayer and God's house; a place where all are welcomed and where we declare Christ: Lord of Our Lives. It will be the place where one is baptized, receiving the gift of salvation; where the Holy Spirit will be confirmed on the souls of believers, where the Eucharist will manifest Christ's presence.
How can you help?
To make this a reality, it is imperative to launch a Capital Campaign with an overall goal of $10 million. If our campaign goals are met, we will have the money needed in the bank to qualify for our loan in roughly two years. After the two years we would have our loan paid off about four years after that. Finally, to complete our dream, we would continue to receive pledges that would allow us to build the complex on the South campus for Religious Education, Youth Ministry and Parish Offices.

If your response has not been received by December 16, 2018, a church volunteer will make a follow-up call to be sure that the brochure was received and to answer any questions or concerns that your family may have. We ask that if you are contacted, you afford the volunteer some time or return their call. Your cooperation in this regard will be greatly appreciated. A spirit of community and Christian caring surely will be realized as we place the building of our church at the top of our common priorities for the next few years.

You are probably thinking, “How much should we pledge?” No one can tell you what your obligation is, as each family’s circumstances are unique. We do ask you to reflect on how much God has given to you and prayerfully respond with great love and generosity.

Our goal is to have every family pledge $1,000 per year, for 10 years.
10 Years
The suggested giving plan encourages financial commitments over a ten-year (120-month) period. Commitment to a suggested gift plan offers the donor a giving program that is most convenient and tax wise for them. Spreading the payment period over several years allows for a charitable deduction to be claimed in years when tax liability is the greatest. It also enables donors to consider more significant contributions to the Capital Campaign Fund than would otherwise be possible.
